Enjoy the World Cup, but spare a thought for those who won't

A recent report by Women’s Charities in the UK stated on the BBC that domestic violence increased by 30% on match days that England played during the last world cup in 2006. Now that’s a shocking statistic. I can’t blame football itself but I can’t also say the statistics surprised me. I wish they did.
